A place for dialogue

Cindex (Inter-Company Expatriation Centre) is a network of major European Groups whose aim is to share good practices on international mobility strategies and policies. 
Each member benefits from the experience of the others, while maintaining full freedom of action and decisions, observing absolute confidentiality. It is an informal network between peers, based on pooled knowledge and trust. The fact that Cindex co-opts its members guarantees a genuine sharing of concerns.

Meetings

Dialogue takes place through regular meetings :
The Plenary Commission deals with all current topics to do with international mobility. It provides its members with an insight into other member companies' practices, and the trends in international mobility strategies and policies of these companies:

  • 3 meetings are exclusively dedicated to international mobility strategies, organisations and policies, bringing together the Human Resources Directors, Compensation & Benefits Directors or international mobility Managers
  • 6 meetings dealing with practical questions relative to expatriate management, are open to the international mobility Managers

Three Specialised Commissionshave been created, not only to enable their members to exchange on good practices, but also to undertake any join actions, or share resources in areas where mutual support between companies is often necessary:

  • The Health Commission (5 meetings each year), which is open to occupational health Doctors
    President: Air France (Dr P. Rodriguez) – Secretary: Renault (Dr G. Latscha)
  • The Tax Commission (4 meetings each year), which is open to tax specialists or international mobility experts in charge of the taxation of expatriates
    President: Air Liquide (C. Rostang) – Secretary: Total (J-M Campaa)
  • The International Security Commission (5 meetings each year) which has a partnership with the Club of Company Security Directors (CDSE) and is open to Security/Safety Managers
    President: Technip (L. Mereyde)  - Secretary: BNP Paribas (R. Defline)

Workshops

The members can take part in workshops in order to discuss specific themes relating to international mobility.

A Web site dedicated to members

To assist members in their discussions and enable them to dialogue in real time outside meetings, a confidential Web site is provided to member companies. The forum site can also be accessed via a mobile telephone.
